Paul found himself fighting against the greatest action of God in human history. He tenaciously held on to his old way of life with its great values, resisting the Messiah’s rescue underway in the world. God mercifully extended grace to him, and called him to participate. It is easier to get on the wrong side of what God is doing than we think. Pray much! Listen to the Spirit! Lord teach us to move with You and not against You!
