“My soul longed and even yearned for the courts of the LORD; My heart and my flesh sing for joy to the living God” (Ps 84:2, NASB).  Passionless worship is the death knell of dying churches.  There is no heartfelt shout of praise rising up.  There is no vision of the holiness of God that casts us on our faces.  There are no glimpses of His glory.  There is no understanding of being in His sweet presence. There is no personal yearning after the Lord.  Lord, please touch us with fire and revive us to worship.

“For a day in Your courts is better than a thousand outside. I would rather stand at the threshold of the house of my God Than dwell in the tents of wickedness.” Psalm 84:10 (NASB)
