When Israel crossed the Jordan to possess the land, the flow of the Jordan did not stop until the priest got their feet wet (Joshua 3:15-17).  We may not get on dry ground until after we get our feet wet.  We may not see God’s intervention until we have taken the obedient step. Obedience is an expression of faith.  Some answers come through waiting.  Some answers come through walking.  The Holy Spirit shows us the difference.

“And the priests who carried the ark of the covenant of the LORD stood firm on dry ground in the middle of the Jordan while all Israel crossed on dry ground, until all the nation had finished crossing the Jordan.” Joshua 3:17 (NASB)
