“And having been warned by God in a dream not to return to Herod, the magi left for their own country by another way” Matt 2:12. Satan by way of Herod wanted to destroy the child. He also wants to destroy those who “keep the commandments and hold to the testimony of Jesus” (Rev 12:17). The God who protected Jesus from Herod is with us. We can be confident that since we are under divine protection, all will be well.
