Disciples of Jesus Christ are intentionally trying to put into practice the teachings of Jesus. They turn from their old actions and reactions to act and react as He taught. They seek to act out His compassionate deeds to the poor, His mercy to sinners and reacting to hostility and hardship the way He showed them. They seek to love each other like He had loved them. They are committed to His words to guide all their thoughts and actions.
