To say we believe in the Trinity is not to say we believe in three gods.  Jesus said, “If you have seen me you have seen the Father.”  The Son reveals the Father and is One with Him.  The Spirit proceeds from the Father, through the Son to receive us.  The Spirit draws us through the Son back to the Father for communion and union with the Holy Trinity.  Christ came down so that we may dwell with Trinity in earthly and heavenly space.

“I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may be with you forever; that is the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it does not see Him or know Him, but you know Him because He abides with you and will be in you” (John 14:16-17, NASB).  The word “another” means one of the same kind. “Another” Helper, the Spirit, is Jesus’ other Self.  The Son and Spirit came down to embrace us in the arms of the Trinity!
