The older I get the more attuned I am to my weaknesses and shortcomings. I am dependent on the Lord for the wisdom He gives in my lack of understanding. I am dependent on Him for strength to persevere. I renounce my tendency toward self-sufficiency. I have discovered that, “when I am weak, then I am strong” 2 Cor 12:10b. My weaknesses keep driving me to the Lord for help and partnership.
Lord, I ask for Your help in every area of my life. May I also remember that when I am living in the Energy of Your Spirit, that I can only boast in You and not in me. Amen!
