Near the end of Jesus’ ministry, He says of His disciples that they had stood by Him. “You are those who have stood by Me in My trials” Luke 22:28 (NASB). It wasn’t so at every point. Where you and I want to end up is numbered among those who persevered through trials, and overcame. Lord, I stumbled along the way, but grant that I remain faithful to you to the very end. May I be counted with those who, by grace, truly overcame. Amen!
