The two disciples of Emmaus walked in sorrow with the unrecognized Jesus.  He is with us, and we must not think and talk as if He is not.  Full awareness of Who was with them changed their sadness into gladness.  May you see that He is with you.  May that understanding lighten your load.  May it change your focus from your anxiety to companionship with the One who walks with you.  May you be as present with Him as He is with you.

“And He said to them, ‘What are these words that you are exchanging with one another as you are walking?’ And they stood still, looking sad.” Luke 24:17 (NASB).
