“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose” (Romans 8:28 NIV). When we love God He is at work in everything that happens to us. He does not “cause” all things, but “in all things God works.” Encouraging! When in the game of life “bad” or “evil” appears to go against the God-lover, it is still not over. God is never left without a for-the-good move. He will not be painted into a corner. He will work out His purpose in His time.
