We often make excuses for why we are not where we should be spiritually. No more excuses! Everything that we need for life, and to walk in the way of godliness, is found in divine power. It is found in the indwelling Holy Spirit. It is found in following His example. It is found in the energy that comes from walking with Him. It is not found in self-reliance, but in relying on Him. It is not found in what I can do on my own, but what I can do in His power. We want miracle power. Power to do miracles is secondary. Power for godly living is primary.
“His divine power has granted to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of him who called us to his own glory and excellence” (2 Peter 1:3 ESV).
