“If we endure, we will also reign with Him” (2 Tim 2:12a).  By endurance, races are won, jobs are completed and the Christian life is finished.  Jesus said about coming tribulation, “The one who endures to the end, he will be saved. (Mk 13:13, Mt 10:22, 24:13).  We don’t like endurance.  It does not feel comfortable. It is painful.  It strains our muscles and our faith.  It strips us of our self-sufficiency.  It makes us pray.  It moves us out of the comforts of the soft to the company of the saints.
