The disciples dwelt with the glory of God in a way more magnificent and intimate than did Israel in the wilderness (John 1:14).  At first they did not recognize the glory.  Then there was the Mount of Transfiguration, the crucifixion and the glory of resurrection.  They began to understand.  We as disciples are called to dwell with glory, to see it and to be transformed “from glory to glory” (II Cor 3:18) by the beholding.  Dwelling with glory is how we begin to reflect the glory through our thoughts, words and deeds.

“And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we saw His glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth.”  John 1:14 (NASB)
