The Lord does not always give specific guidance when we ask. Could it be because He is trying to get us to make some decisions based on what we have learned about God through His Word? Could it be that we cannot develop character without learning to make mature decisions? When we are forced to grapple with the ethics of the Word of God and the example of Christ in our decision making, it makes a difference in how the muscles of our soul develop.
“For the kingdom of heaven is just like a man about to go on a journey, who called his own servants and entrusted his possessions to them.” Matt 25:14
