God made a choice to reach the Gentiles first through His servant Peter  (Acts 15:7).  God makes choices to be carried out by servants on whom He can depend.  He is always looking for willing instruments who are totally surrendered to the mission of Messiah.  He found it in Paul, apostle to the Gentiles.  May He find that in me.  Oh, may I not discover on that Great Day what I could have done had I given Him, not just more, but all.

After there had been much debate, Peter stood up and said to them, “Brethren, you know that in the early days God made a choice among you, that by my mouth the Gentiles would hear the word of the gospel and believe.” Acts 15:7 (NASB)
