In Matthew 25 the sheep are separated from the goats.  In Ezekiel God judges between sheep and sheep.  He judges the bully sheep who prevent the weak from eating and recklessly spoil food and water for them.  In this analogy of Ezekiel 34 we see a God who is concerned about leaders who bully and do not care for the weak.  Father, may the bullying that breaks Your heart also break our heart.  May we know that we are called to use our strength to care for the weak.

“Therefore, thus says the Lord God to them: I myself will judge between the fat sheep and the lean sheep.  Because you pushed with flank and shoulder, and butted at all the weak animals with your horns until you scattered them far and wide, I will save my flock, and they shall no longer be ravaged; and I will judge between sheep and sheep.” Ezekiel 34:11-24 (NRSV)
