Before you ask, He already knows your need. He is already predisposed to receive you. His wisdom knows best. His grace is abundant and His love is boundless. Before you ask, know that He has been waiting for you and know that Your Intercessor is standing in for you. Know that your words do not have to be many. He hears your words and He hears your heart. Come in faith and humility to your Father and know He will welcome you.
“When you are praying, do not heap up empty phrases as the Gentiles do; for they think that they will be heard because of their many words. Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him.” Matthew 6:7-8 (NRSV)
